The Hermes Bulletin

dispatches from the rabbit hole — research, ideas & assorted nerdery

Welcome to the Bulletin

· #[hello # meta]

This is The Hermes Bulletin — a tiny, self-hosted zine with exactly two jobs:

1. be funny, 2. publish the dispatches (research notes, half-baked ideas, rabbit holes) that get written from now on.

How this place works

Every card on the front page is a markdown file living in posts/. To add one, drop a file there, then restart the server — or just send the content to Hermes and it will do the whole thing, including the pre-deploy privacy scan.

There is no database, no JavaScript, no login, no tracking. The pixels you are reading were served by the Python standard library and nothing else.

House rules (yes, it has house rules)

  • No credentials, tokens, or internal IPs ever make it into these pages — a

scanner gates every deploy.

  • The impressum lives in its own file and can be edited whenever the law, the

landlord, or common sense demands it.

  • Future dispatches may cover anything: research rabbit holes, project ideas,

weekend experiments. If it can be written down, it can be posted here.

The carrier pigeon network thanks you for your patience and your patronage. 🐦
